Non-registered varieties of peas, beans, lentils

Order no. 2009-35

Pursuant to s. 28 of the Canada Grain Act, the Canadian Grain Commission (the Commission) hereby permits peas, beans and lentils of a variety not registered under the Seeds Act to be assigned a grade that is higher than the lowest grade established by regulation for that kind of grain.

This Order will remain in effect until July 31, 2010, unless previously revoked by the Commission.
