Company Name

Section 116 – Monitoring and measurement of product and process

The processes outlined in Sections 113 and 115 of this manual and GOP – 012: Purchasing, establish product specific requirements. The compliance to these product standards is determined by inspection and measurement activities. Specific testing methods may be determined by the customer and/or by the adapted Generic HACCP Plan. The [Procurement Manager], the Food Safety and Quality Manger and the [Plant Manager] establish the appropriate stages of the product realization process for the testing activities from field production to receiving, through in process, and final inspection.

These activities and responsibilities are described in GOP – 013: Receiving, Transportation, Storage and Shipping [and company specific SOPs]

In the event of the inspection and monitoring identifying a non-conforming product Sections 121 and 122 of this manual are implemented with a view to identifying where improvements are needed and appropriate corrective actions are taken.
